WAN Project

Each and every company aimed at being competitive in today's competitive markets ends up inevitably investing in their network infrastructure. And this implies not only internal network (LAN), but also how they keep connected to the rest of the virtual world (WAN). This process can be undertaken via many different approaches, from straightforward solutions such as ADSL or Cable services or more sophisticated alternatives like ATM, Frame Relay, SDH, Radio or Satellite technologies. Silicon Strategy's work consists of:

  • Evaluating the customer's network usage profiles thus enabling us to offer optimum solutions (cost-benefits analysis);
  • Identifying the appropriate service level required by the customer so that they can contract accordingly or plan to have redundant links;
  •  Specifying network topology and equipment options from different vendors;
  • Supporting customers to appraise the services offered by their Internet Service Provider (availability, bandwith, SLA);
  • Configuring and installing network equipment.

These activities will always take in account:

  • Network performance ;
  • Service Level Agreement;
  • Quality of Service (QoS)

Silicon Strategy's goal is to be our customers' strategic outsourcing provider.
